How do you build a dog feeder (does or doesn’t have to be automatic)with basic materials in your house?
I built a water feeder but now I want a food dispenser.Also I do have a hot glue gun so if it needs gluing that’s basically the only glue I have in my house.Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also my dogs a 4-year-old Jack russell terrier.

i wouldnt make an automatic feeder cuz that just encourages ur dog to eat a lot and get fat. by giving her an automatic feeder, she can eat as much as she wants instead of u proportioning her food to prevent obesity. but i guess if u really have to..
get a tall plastic container and a long flat one. in the tall container, where there isnt a hole already, cut a rectangular hole on the side along the edge so the food can pour out. then make sure there is a lid/ on it so its easy to refill. after that, just pour some food in there, flip it over so the side with the hole u just cut is down inside the long flat container and it should pour into the flat container until it is full. and then when there is more space, uit should just keep pouring out.
but again, please watch ur dog’s weight. it really doesnt take much effort to dump a little food in her bowl twice a day, does it?
